Why we're different

The Cosy Toadstool is different from other home interiors websites. We're selective with the products we choose to list in our store. Every product you'll find is hand-picked by us based on a simple criteria: we think you'll love it.

We're a tat-free zone. We focus on quality, not volume, and list only items we think you'll immediately connect with — Even then, we’ll only show the products we think stand out.

The result is a much more considered range, where everything feels like someone’s perfect find.

We’re also strong supporters of great design and independent artisans, so by using us to find your perfect piece, you're supporting the good guys.

Why we're doing it

​

With so many shops, websites, brochures and magazines to trawl, finding the right things for your home can be painful. It’s hard to separate the genuinely good from the mass of lookalike and low quality products, especially when everyone seems to be pushing the same things.

The Cosy Toadstool exists to cut through that — and help you find the pieces that are actually worth having.

We're also big on the eco-friendly side of things and make sure that all the materials used in our furniture is responsibly and sustainably sourced.

Who we are

​

Kay (Mrs Toadstool), Founder and Owner.

James (Mr Toadstool), Avid supporter and unpaid minion ;-)

Kay is a specialist in interior design (both high-end and upcycling) and an avid crafter with a passion for all things handmade and homemade. Kay enjoys spending time in the outdoors, camping and gathering inspiration for her next craft project.

​

James is a specialist in Supply Chain and gives me loads of advice and support. He has passionate interest in nature. He loves nothing more than a quiet walk through the woods and spending time by the seaside.

​

When we aren't working, you'll find us chilling in our caravan (her name is Wanda), camping or curled up with a book. We both love Folk music and visiting Folk festivals.

​

The concept of The Cosy Toadstool was born from my love and passion of nature, things made out of wood and support in sustainability.
